Bradley Davis

It is with great sadness that I have to report on the passing of our oldest WWII veteran, Mr. Bradley Davis at the age of 104 years.  Bradley died today, D-Day, 6 June 2013.  Bradley is a Life member of our two veterans organizations, Dripping Springs VFW Post 2933 and Vince F. Tayor American Legion Post 290.  He was a Charter Member of both posts.

Bradley served in the United States Army Air Corps during WWII.  He served in Italy in the 1944/45 time frame.  He was a retired Middle/Junior High School science teacher who taught in Austin and Dripping Springs for many years.  He was the youngest child of Mr. I V and Katie Davis of Dripping Springs.  He was a bachelor and had no children.  His last few years have been in the Hill Country Care Center in Dripping Springs.

More infomation will follow.
