To All our Veterans: I just received word from Ms. Marr at DSMS that the "Veterans in the Classroom" program will be on Wednesday, November 6. This program will be from about 8:00 AM until about 3 or 4 PM. The school will have lunch for us and snacks, drinks, coffee in the morning. Three classrooms of sixth grade social studies students will be the audience. Please put this date on your calendar now and reserve it. More info will follow.
We will need about 15 veterans to participate. We need, if possible, three veterans each from the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, and the Coast Guard. If you can participate in this program please send me an e-mail (gphale@verizon.net) as soon as possible and I will start making a list of volunteers. Thank you for doing this. It is a great program.
